Joe Hall has spent more than 30 years in the sailing industry, working with yacht owners, sailors and marine businesses in the UK and internationally.

Early career

Joe’s marine career began in the 1990s as part of the team developing the Glenfiddich Melges 24 One Design Class and its events across Europe. This led to marine events and sponsorship, international yacht sales and brokerage with Farr Yacht Sales, and sales and marketing consultancy for Premier Composite Technologies.

The racecourse and the Fastnet

Alongside his commercial career, Joe has worked across international sailing events and spent fourteen years delivering the shoreside operations of the Rolex Fastnet Race, working with competitors, sailing clubs, volunteers and the wider marine industry.

A sailor as well as a broker

An RYA Yachtmaster, Joe has raced and cruised extensively, including in the Caribbean and Brittany, completed yacht deliveries along the US East Coast and crossed the Atlantic.
